Dear colleagues and friends

On behalf of the Korean Society of Ultrasound in Medicine (KSUM), it is our greatest pleasure to invite all members of KSUM as well as international colleagues to participate in the KSUM 2020 to be held from November 16 (Mon) to 17 (Tue), 2020 as an online congress.

As we all know, the world has faced grave challenges this year due to COVID-19. The global epidemic and community infections have not yet come to an end. As a result, we have been led to make the difficult decision of moving the congress from offline to online. This is a big challenge for us, but it will provide an exceptional opportunity to develop novel and innovative ways to continue to exchange the most up-to-date science and clinical practices.

The KSUM has been laying down a solid foundation for continued growth as an international society by holding its annual congress with a consistently increasing number of participants and upgraded scientific programs. This year is a meaningful year for the KSUM as it celebrates its 40th anniversary. Under the theme "From 1980 to the Future of KSUM," the KSUM 2020 organizing committee has planned an engaging scientific program including Meet the Professor, Interactive Case Review, and Case of the Day session, which will bring together eminent speakers and delegates from all over the world. Furthermore, Ultrasound, the Best is KSUM 2020's first attempt to present and share the excellence of ultrasonography in medicine through the presentation of case reports and case series.

We look forward to gathering our community in this new digital format to learn, connect, and interact!
